Citak boys: hello again!

well, i hadn't realized it had been SOOO long since i last posted. I have made many attempts of sitting down and posting, but either Saro or Ari will usually pipe up and pull me away. So, this is attempt # who knows what... let's see how far i can get!

First, no blog update is complete without a few stats on their weights :) (as of Thursday, April 26th)

Saro: 9lbs 6oz
Ari: 8lbs 9oz

I can't believe the last time i posted they were still in the 7 lb range! Boy are they growing quickly!

April has been a busy month. We've had lots of visitors ooh & aww over our adorable wonders and sometimes, if you're lucky, they'll do a few tricks for you. Ari in particular loves to hold his head up and on the rare occasion, roll over onto his back!! He's very young for this little feat so we're extremely proud of the little guy. He even inspired his cousin Sasha to flip over and she's now rolling like the best of 'em.

We've also gotten more comfortable going out with the boys. We have started to give them bottles when necessary and this has allowed us to join our family for dinner at a restaurant and go over to Lori's house for a wine & cheese (or mocktails & prosciutto for Arda). This new found freedom will definitely make mom & dad's life a little easier so that we're not chained to the house for the next year!

On the not so fun side...

I had a little bout of mastitis... which was NOT fun, but it's all cleared up now and becoming a distant memory. I continued to have a lot of help from family (my dad, sis, and mother-in-law) but the time has come for me to face reality and today is my first day alone with them. AAAH! i'll have to write another post and let you all know how this week goes... hopefully, the boys feel bad for mama and don't give me a hard time!
